Yoga Nidra is a powerful and transformative yet easily accessible practice. This easy practice requires no more than to lie down comfortably and listen. There is no way to do it wrong and the effects are powerful. Through the use of guided imagery, breath awareness and body scanning; Yoga Nidra helps alleviate not only muscular tension, but also mental and emotional stress, as those being guided switch on the parasympathetic nervous system – the relaxation response.
Yoga Nidra—known as Yogic Sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.
Yogic sleep is the perfect antidote for the demands we face in this time of frantic pace and nervous system over-stimulation. The practice of Yoga Nidra transfers you to a state of harmony, health and well-being.
Aside from being relaxing, restorative and restful, studies have shown that Yoga Nidra can also:
- Ease insomnia
- Decrease anxiety
- Alleviate stress
- Reduce PTSD, chronic pain and chemical dependency
- Heighten awareness and focus
- Transform negative habits, behaviors and ways of thinking
- Foster feelings of peace, calm, and clarity
In this course you will learn about the energetic system of the Koshas, which we will use as the framework for creating our Yoga Nidra scripts and journeys. You will learn how to guide your students though the Koshas (or five layers of being) to a state of deep rest and relaxation.kvweee As they journey through up to 7 stages of the meditation they will tap into the subconscious and unconscious minds, and move towards the ultimate goal… remembering who they truly are as a human being and tasting bliss.
*This course qualifies for (20) Yoga Alliance C.E.U.’s

Spring is here and it’s time to shake off the winter blues! This workshop, which combines Restorative Yoga with Reflexology, is exactly what your nervous system needs to rejuvenate, energize, and prepare for the longer more active days ahead.
Bring your winter weary self (and any specific injuries you may be dealing with) so the healing can begin. Restorative Yoga and Reflexology both assist the body’s process of recovering from injuries and clearing away any illness by releasing the deep tension that impedes healing.
Bolsters, straps, blankets, and blocks will support your body in restful poses, held for longer periods of time in a state of deep relaxation. While enjoying your rest, everyone will receive moments of the healing touch of reflexology throughout the session.
Want to take your physical Yoga practice to the next level? I'll show you how to get there!
In this workshop I will show you the foundational principles and techniques to master your body. I will show you how to use a variety of bodyweight and kettlebell drills to not only help your practice but repair any imbalances you may have incurred over time.
You will master a few movements / exercises and the results will cross-over to everything you will ever do in the future!
Sign-up for the 5-week follow-up series on the day of the event for a discount! Keep your practice STRONG!
Price: $35 or $40 day-of
An amazing experience of guided meditation, relaxation, cleansing, and sound. Not to be missed! This time celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with us!
“For some the experience is meditative, other’s emotional, even transcendent, but in all circumstances it is a powerful and unforgettable event.”
Gong Lab is best known for its deeply transporting blend of guided visualization, healing sound, hypnotic percussion, and otherworldly vocals. Each session carefully creates a protected space to disengage from stress and pain, so that the deep relief, bliss, and nurturance of reconnecting with the body’s natural revitalizing energies can be experienced.
The evening begins by candlelight with a direction of intention and guided meditation as participants, reclining comfortably on the floor, are ushered into a spiraling cocoon of luminous sound. The shimmering reverberations of the Earth Gong create sound pressure waves that travel through the connective tissues which form one continuous network into all parts and systems of the body down to a cellular level. These multi-tonal frequencies facilitate the movement of “chi” or “prana” in the body and initiate the release of blocked energy that can often manifest as fear, fatigue, depression or illness. As this energetic recalibration takes place we experience the kind of reorganization of our inner resources that can help us transcend the challenging situations in our daily lives and access new templates for being.
Participants will lay comfortably on the floor for most of the experience. Please bring a mat, blanket, pillow, and any items in support of your deepest clearing and relaxation.

Aerial yoga instructor Brian Witten is back with a perfect Aerial Yoga Workshop for the fall! This extended aerial yoga practice will offer students a unique opportunity to create self transformation in the body and mind. The fall is a time of transition from our active, expressive self to a more inward focused state of being. As we cultivate the nourishing aspects of our lives and let go of the things that have reached an end, it is a perfect time to release the energies, habits and patterns that keep us from finding the comfort of inner peace. This dynamic practice with aerial silks hammock is a fresh approach to yoga that teaches students the art of holding on to inner peace even through uncertainty. With the support of the silks students will break away from negative patterns within the body and mind, and find grace in movement by expressing the true potential that resides within each of us. This extended practice will also include a special relaxation meditation to help rid the mind of all business and clutter that keeps us from experiencing true clarity of mind and inner bliss.
This dynamic, strength building workshop will introduce the fundamental skills and conditioning movements of aerial silks. With a practice geared towards freedom and fun, you will feel like your inner child or maybe your inner cirque performer has come out to play. This workshop will focus on some fundamental conditioning skills, hanging and inverting and simple flow and transition movements in the aerial silks hammock. All levels welcome to join, the practice can be modified for all students.
*There is a physical element to this practice as a conditioning class that can potentially aggravate current or recent musculo-skeletal injury. Notify the instructor of any issues or reach out with any questions prior to the workshop.

Did you know that chocolate has been referred to through the centuries as “food of the Gods”?
Did you know that Plato, the Ancient Greek Philosopher said that “wine fills the heart with courage”?
Your wish has come true! Good quality chocolate is a food group, indeed; and wine does not have to be a guilty pleasure, it can be a sensible vice.
During this “Chocolate, Wine & Ayurveda Symposium” you will practice:
- Subtly engaging and honoring all of your five senses.
- Identifying the six tastes of Ayurveda in order to train your taste buds towards a more enhanced palate awareness.
- Incorporating the ceremonial aspect into your daily life.
There is a lot we can learn by studying the practices of old wise cultures about what makes us, humans, feel our best and perform our best. So, come and experience one of the most eye-opening yoga events you will ever be invited to.
This celebration of senses will also introduce you to the Ancestral Greek concept of “symposium”. These “symposia” were intellectual gatherings where the philosophers of ancient Greece would collect around a table and allow the conversation and wine to flow.
There will be a 75-minute Yoga class to kick off our little shin-dig and a light organic summer supper will be served.
