Please join us for the first ever “Be.Well.” Holistic Retreat at Henderson Castle in Kalamazoo!
We have a lot of amazing experiences planned for you during this Wellness Weekend, taking place September 19th-21st 2025.
There is limited space for the full weekend line-up (with lodging at the sister property of Henderson Castle) as well as spaces for people who live locally too. Here is some of what you can expect to see at this event being curated by the Sound Medicine Collective and hosted by Chef Francois Moyet. The line-up is chosen specifically for nourishing your mind, body, and spirit!

François Moyet
François Moyet is a seasoned naturopath and Master Chef whose unique approach blends the healing power of natural wellness with the artistry of fine cuisine. With a deep understanding of holistic health and decades of culinary expertise, François creates nourishing experiences that honor both body and soul.
Luke Andresen
Military fitness leader turned Resiliency Guide; Luke has an intuitive approach to training his students. He take what works and rejects what doesn’t, always focusing on a holistic perspective to maximize physical potential while minimizing injury risk.
Emily Hughes
For Emily, the calling of more yogic knowledge was so great that she decided to travel to India to study under the masters. Emily earned her 500 hour certificate with a specialization in Ayurveda at Ayuryoga Eco Ashram near Mysore, India. Then followed the sun to the fabulous Florida Keys, where she studied sound therapy & reiki.
Carly Pinto
Carly Pinto has a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Psychology, she attended the National University of Natural Medicine to receive her Masters of Science in Nutrition, which equipped her with an incredibly unique and naturopathically-influenced holistic nutrition education.
Mike DeHays
Michael Jon DeHays is a freelance electric cellist, composer and recording engineer from Mishawaka, Indiana performing on electric cello as Imphormal.
Jenna3Fires
Three Fires is a Native American woman with specialties in reiki and healing sound. She received her Reiki training from Shaman, Simon Jay of Harmonic Waves Healing and her Sacred Sound Certification from Adrienne White of the Sound Medicine Collective.
Kristen Atkinson
Kristen Atkinson is trained as a yoga teacher, herbalist, flower essence practitioner, and floral acupuncturist. She has used and studied flower essences for over 10 years.
