Mike Tamburo
MASTER MUSICIAN
Mike Tamburo is a world-renowned musician and educator specializing in transformational gong concerts and metal percussion. A lifelong multi-instrumentalist, he has shared over 2,000 performances and recorded 70+ albums spanning gong music, transcendental strings, ambient, drone, and beyond.He teaches through School of Gong and co-founded the ethnomusicology trio Dig Deeper, exploring sound's role in healing, meditation, and consciousness. Drawing from decades of meditation practice and personal experiences with altered states, Mike's music creates space for deep introspection, self-exploration, and transformation through sustained drones, overtones, and psychoacoustics.

TONE OF LIFE
Tone of Life teaches people to feel and transform through sound healing practices—creating, receiving, and sharing transformational experiences.
Founded by Tom & Abby who met in Argentina in 2011 and immediately recognized their work was meant to merge, they've since shared sound as healing, therapy, and medicine with tens of thousands worldwide through trainings, workshops, and live ceremonies.
Their methodology weaves lifetimes of study in sound philosophy, science, and practice, drawn from family lineages, teachers, and personal exploration.
Established in 2006 in Poland and relocated to Spain's Andalucian mountains in 2020, the Tone of Life Centre offers a sanctuary space featuring a hall of gongs, private treatment rooms, sound ceremonies, retreats, trainings, MEM Yoga, and a recording studio.

Madhava Carrara & Margherita Cioffi
GROTTA SONORA
Grotta Sonora is a captivating project focused on crafting and creating experimental musical instruments. Born from the creative minds of Madhava Carrara and Margherita Cioffi, both artisans and musicians, this endeavor reflects their deep passion for sound exploration and craftsmanship.Madhava Carrara, deeply influenced by Indian culture, brings a wealth of musical and artisanal expertise to the project. With years of experience in creating stringed, wind, and percussion instruments using a diverse range of materials, including recycled items, his artistic journey has been one of continual innovation and discovery.
Meanwhile, Margherita Cioffi, a gifted singer and decorator, has lent her creative prowess to the exploration that underpins the Grotta Sonora project.
The project began in a cave of Etruscan origin near the ancient village of Calcata in the Treja Valley. It was within this mystical space that their first instruments were meticulously crafted. As fate would have it, the cave provided an ideal acoustical environment for playing these newly-fashioned instruments, ultimately serving as the catalyst for the Grotta Sonora project.

Our technique weaves hypnotic droning from gongs and crystal bowls with clearing washes, rhythmic drumming, and the delicate shimmer of chimes and Tibetan bowls—each layer intentionally crafted to guide you past the thinking mind and into profound healing states. The drones act as sonic anchors, lulling your nervous system into deep receptivity, while rhythmic elements and atmospheric textures create a multidimensional soundscape that holds you in liminal space where true transformation occurs.
What happens in these states goes far beyond ordinary relaxation. We are located in Benton Harbor MI and host monthly sound baths, regular special events, guest healers & teachers. We also travel frequently for tours and sound-scapes in other studios across the country!
