The Resonance
Retreat
Remembering Your Resonance
through Sound Medicine, Equine Heart Work, Yoga & Rest
Early Bird Pricing Ends February 27th
Our intention is clear: a retreat to bring you back into resonance with your own frequency — heart, mind, and soul moving as one signal instead of a thousand competing ones.
At the turn of spring into summer, we will gather on 123 acres of forest, meadow, and lakeside land at AKERA in Woodbourne, NY, in the heart of the Catskills. Over five days and four nights, May 27–31, 2027, we'll share high-vibration meals and stories, sacred sound journeys, equine heart-coherence work, mantra and meditation practice, daily yoga, hikes through the land, time to journal and restore, sauna, hot tub, and a true cold-plunge experience option — and so much more! You are invited to find your resonance; do as little or as much as you'd like.
Retreat Highlights
-
Multiple sound journeys featuring our wall of gongs , crystal & Himalayan bowls, drums, didgeridoo, chimes, voice and more.
-
Guided forest bathing, trails to ponds and rock formations, quiet moments by the water, solo reflection prompts and exploration of AKERA's 123 acres of Catskills wilderness.
-
Reset your nervous system with restorative yoga, guided naps (yoga Nidra), plenty of space to decompress and scheduled downtime.
-
Guided meditation, sound & relaxation to spark insight & life story journaling, an equine heart-coherence session with horse medicine, breathwork + cold plunge session, and silent meditation walk.
-
Opening & closing circles, fireside chats, cacao ceremony, fun community meals and honoring the elements in nature.
-
AKERA offers a stunning Catskills retreat setting with flexible lodging options: choose a private room (king or queen bed) or a shared room (king, queen, or twin bed). All meals (organic, gluten-free options and hand-crafted masterpieces) are included.
Transformation Invitation
Join Adrienne & Luke for a Resonance Remembrance Retreat where you'll explore a balance of activity & rest, sound & silence, movement & stillness, community & time alone to tune back into your own frequency and get clear on what truly lights you up. That clarity is how you keep choosing your own resonance — on purpose, every day you return home.
Sacred Land. Sacred Frequency.
Sometimes we need to be reminded, we need to go somewhere where everything is tuned to a higher resonance. AKERA is that place! The land holds its own frequency, the food is a ceremony, the practices come from the ancient, the sound vibrations of nature and sacred instruments reignite our spark… we are surrounded by those who hold up a mirror that helps you remember your own resonance. This is a coming home, a recognition that we are on a journey, and that according to yoga we are already whole and healed, exactly as we are. We only need to remember.

Vibration is everything. We are coming into soul’s harmony or dissonance in every choice we make and every next step we take.
Getting clear on what lights you up is the first step! We are electrically charged beings and this time is an opportunity to recharge, reassess, and reignite intentionally with our own resonance.
High vibration land and food will be our home ground, and sound medicine practices will take us to soaring heights in the ether. Each day will be anchored in yogic practice and meditation.
Entrain with nature as we walk the land, amplify your heart with equine meditation, add a horse medicine session to bring yourself into the amplified field of the powerful equine heart energy.
We will feast, we will rest, and we will create a deep connection with both the place and the people who are choosing this circle at this moment in time.
-
We will open our retreat by telling you a “story” with one of our signature offerings (Sound & Stories), where we partner Yoga Nidra guided meditation with Sacred Sound to start our journey together.
Sound will be an important thread throughout the weekend and we will also use storytelling as one of our methodologies to help you see yourself, your life, and how far you have come!
Remembering where you came from is integral to connecting to where you are going.
Telling your story gives you understanding and a voice, as well as helps us to create a purposeful and meaningful life.
-
Our opening evening will include a delicious homemade community meal where we'll have the opportunity to get to know each other, have conversations, and those conversations can continue around an outdoor fire where we will share introductions and begin to open our hearts to one another.
The peaceful quiet and stillness of AKERA invites deep rest as you settle into the land each night, held by a frequency all its own.
-
Our four mornings together will start with a yoga practice to recharge your life force energy through movement, breathwork and meditation.
The intention of class is to help you remember… you are the Divine unfolding in real time here on earth! Each class will end with a gong bath savasana for deep relaxation.
-
Sound and sound journeys will be one of our most important threads throughout the weekend.
It’s easy to remember our dreams and our divinity while bathing in the vibrations of a multitude of gongs, crystal bowls, drums, chimes, mantra, and even didgeridoo!
This Sacred Sound will be the backdrop to our weekend for you to rest, relax, and vibrate joy.
-
Participants will be offered the opportunity to be seen through intentional photography at one of our sacred sites that we will visit.
Your participation is completely optional, but you may like to bring a special item to wear if you would like to participate.
Luke’s photography teacher, Robert Sturman, calls this “The Yoga of Seeing”. We hope you will enjoy this image as a souvenir of our weekend together!

There is a resonance that lives in the heart of a horse — a frequency so coherent it can entrain the energy of everyone in its presence.
In this session, we move beyond riding or ordinary interaction and into relationship — meeting the horse as a mirror and a teacher. Their heart's electromagnetic field is scientifically measured to be far larger than our own (5x to be exact), and simply being in their presence can shift our nervous system into coherence.
This is a practice of presence, trust, and embodied connection — amplifying your own heart field as you attune to theirs.
